I never loved the tassel detail on the Mini Lou because it makes the bag heavier than it already is, and more cumbersome as it can get tangled with the chain strap.
The camera is just an open box whereas the small has an internal divider with zipper section. My guess is they can carry roughly the same amount but with the camera it would all be thrown in and in the small it would be more organized. Note neither will carry a LOT - they aren’t huge bags. In terms of an investment the Loulou might potentially be a better choice since the design is unique to Saint Laurent, whereas camera bags styles are found across most fashion houses.

YSL Lou Lou - this is the smallest interior capacity of all these bags. The strap is quite short if you’re tall. For the outside size of the bag, the interior size is a disappointment (at least for me). I also learned that I have an aversion to flap bags. Zip top feels more secure to me.
