I really like the annual calendar and how Rolex does this different than anyone else (arguably better). But 14mm is just too thick.
I really loved the idea of the Skydweller. Tried one on several years ago (back when they actually had watches in the ADs) and was very disappointed at how huge it was on my skinny wrists.I've been registered with my AD for the Blue dial Sky-Dweller on oyster for about a year & today during my visit to the AD, they showed me the White dial on Oyster. I have to be honest & in the flesh I thought the white dial looked incredible & pictures of the white do not do it justice. SkyDweller black vs blue. Hi folks. All the ADs have said the blue is very hard to get because everyone wants it. I have NOT seen the black in person.
Loved the steel Sky Dweller and I really wanted the white dial. It fit perfectly with no bracelet adjustment. After 30 minutes, I just couldn't pull the trigger. Currently have the Daytona two tone on order from an AD. Recently went into the AD to look around and the Sky-Dweller caught my eye. Which one to get? Investment wise I know Daytona all day. So I would love to purchase the Sky dweller (in blue) but hearing it’s almost near impossible to obtain one at the moment, tempted to buy the white version. Would the white dial be worth as much as the blue version in the future? Which one do you like the most, the blue or green sky dweller/jubilee? I have the opportunity to choose between both and are normally a blue dial person, but i think the green looks a bit more discrete which is appealing.
For me, black works well for SS. It's a sunburst dial and the contrast between the dial and the white gold indices and hands make it easily legible. I guess if it comes to complication then the sky dweller wins hands down. for simplicity and uniqueness the rootbeer wins. the rootbeer is a more comfortable wear in my opinion.
